This is a reproduction of an antique European sampler, circa 1790. Model stitched over 2 threads on 40 Ct. Beige linen with Weeks Dye Works floss, Gentle Art Sampler threads and DMC floss. Stitch Count: 326W x 186H. Finished size: 16 1/4" x 9 1/4".

Model stitched over 2 threads on fabric of your choice with Au Ver a Soie Soie d'Alger silk floss. Also required, but not listed above 621, and 4226 from Au Ver a Soie Soie d'Alger. Stitch Count: 345 x 247. Design Size on 32 Ct. Fabric: 22" x 15"

Model stitched over 2 threads on 32 Ct. Cocoa linen with DMC floss. Stitch Count: 389W x 265H. Finished size is 24.31 in wide X 16.56 in high.

Model stitched on 40 Ct. Sand Dune using Soie d'Alger. Specialty stitches used are satin stitch and eyelets. Stitch count is 333W x 386H. Finished size is 16.65" x 19.3"

Model stitched on 40 ct Autumn Gold from Lakeside linen using Gloriana's, Dinky Dyes and Classic Colorworks silks. Shown on an Ackfeld Manufacturing hanger. Stitch Count: 292W x 388H and the finished size is 14.6" x 19.4".

Chart recommends 32 count linen and DMC floss, but you can stitch on any fabric of your choice! Stitch count is 630 x 390. Fabric size needed 45 inches x 31 inches. Finished size is 39.38 in wide X 24.38 in high.

Larger model stitched on 40 Ct. Autumn Gold from Lakeside Linens using one strand of Needlepoint Silk over two threads.

Smaller sampler is worked on 40 Ct. Ink Spot Black from R & R Reproductions using one strand of Needlepoint Silk over two threads.

This sampler was brought to me by Stephanie Jirak of Lincoln University, PA. She is the Great Great Great Granddaughter of Nancy Anne Cassell. The family history is included in the chart.

Pattern is stitched on 28 ct Vintage Buttercream using Gloriana and Classic Colorworks threads. Stitch count is 162 x 152. Finished size is 11.6" x 10.9".

Cross stitch pattern from Quaint Rose Needle Arts featuring an antique reproduction design of a beautiful bird with a pear fruit from 1910.

Models stitched on 36 count Cactus Wren by Fox and Rabbit using DMC floss. The Bird has a stitch count of 90 x 120 with a finished size of 5" x 6.67". The Pear has a stitch count of 98 x 114 with a finished size of 5.44" x 6.33".

A Reproduction of a sampler from Scotland.

The pattern was stitched on 32 ct. Linen with NPI silk floss. The stitch count is 266 x 276 and the finished size is 16.63" x 17.25".

Here we find an alphabet intertwined with irises, religious symbols with singular shapes, and a border of stylized roses that seems to whisper the elegance of days gone by.
