Easter is the fourth pattern in the Holiday Hornbook Series. These fun stitches are all designed to be mounted on the Jackson board (hornbook).

Stitched on 36 count Black Licorice by Grace Notes Fabrics. Stitch count is 55w x 55w. Finished size is 3" x 3".

Model stitched on 36 count Linen using Classic Colorworks and Gentle Arts floss with DMC floss. The stitch count is 144 x 179 and the finished size is 8" x 10.94".

This sampler has no name on it so I lovlingly, refer to it as the Black Cat sampler. I believe the original was crafted in England. There are two sets of initials on the sampler but I have not been able to determine if they are that of the stitchers.
